“Pope Day”

I came by a site (http://popeday.jp2.info/pope_day.html ) that was set up to organize celebrations for the 25th anniversary of Pope John Paul’s pontificate which was on October 16th 2003. Yes, it’s a bit late for us to sign up for the festivities, but it’s not to late to implement some of the devotions that are described in great detail on the site. October 16th should be celebrated along with the birth and death of JPII as “special” days for our prayer groups.
The site also has a great page filled with PDF documents of JPII’s work: http://popeday.jp2.info/materials.html
I pray that you are blessed with the information and that “Pope Day” for our beloved John Paul II will continue on for years to come.
